Dominguez took Gertten for a ride. It’s a shame. Gertten could have blown the lid off this guy and done everyone a favor - the Nicaraguans workers who were legitmately harmed while working for Dole could have been compensated, Dominguez would have been jailed and Gertten would have been a hero and possibly won awards. Instead he made a film that glorified a criminal who was taking advantage of the very people Gertten was trying to help. I believe in freedom of speech. Some just use it better than others.

Afer reading Doles different websites I can not understand that this responcibler, enviroment, human company have done this and still denies it. I recommend everybody to stop bying anything coming cfrpm a DOLE company. Check on their website wich interrests they have in your region.

I am surprised that after Dole’s president attesting to the authenticity of letters written in 1977 to Dow Chemical Company wherein Dole threatened to sue Dow for breach of contract if Dow did not continue to supply Dole with DBCP, as well as letters documenting Dole’s offer to indemnify Dow and hold Dow from any claims for personal injury that may arise by injured workers or other “third parties” exposed to DBCP.
Dole continued to use 500,000 gallons of DBCP.
It is good to judge this lack of corporation responsability towards the workers globally!
